The Potential for Cultural Exchanges between the European Union and Third Countries: The Case of China

This study provides an overview of the cultural sector in China and describes the current state of cultural exchanges between the EU and its member states and China.

It concludes by providing ideas for policy-makers on how such exchanges can be strengthened. China is taken here as a test case for the EU's cultural policy towards third countries in general.
