I'm a Japanese visual artist living in Cumbria, UK.

Employing a brush hatching technique using Japanese sumi ink and acrylic, which I invented and developed in recent years, inspired by the classic method "disegno" in enhancing its concept combining with some latest neurological study, I’m exploring with my art practice how to bridge East and West as well as our artistic heritage and contemporary understanding.
