Fundaciones

Las fundaciones de toda Europa difieren mucho en sus fines, procedimientos y estructuras jurídicas. Algunas son únicamente operativas (es decir, desarrollan sus propios programas y también buscan fondos para sus actividades), mientras que otras aportan subvenciones y ofrecen ayuda a particulares, organizaciones o proyectos.

Algunas fundaciones financiadoras tienen una razón de ser principalmente cultural (financiación de la movilidad, intercambios artísticos, etc.). Otras son más generales, con fines ampliamente definidos y políticas de subvenciones en diversas áreas como educación e investigación.
