Contains the results of opinion polls of European citizens carried out by the EU since 1973. The survey is carried out twice a year. Specific surveys are done more infrequently, investigating topics such as agriculture, biotechnology, energy, environment, gender roles, family and youth from a European perspective. Eurobarometer also publishes a newsletter with results of actual surveys. The Central Archive for Empirical Social Research at the University of Cologne provides a comprehensive searchable archive of the Eurobarometer as well as other Europe related surveys like the European Values Study.
