Hans Peter Christen

Hans Peter Christen has been working for the European Cultural Foundation since October 2004. He was born in Rotterdam, studied Art History at the University of Leiden and specialised in film, modern art and American architecture. He graduated in 1989 with a thesis on the American filmmaker George Romero. During his career he has been working in financial functions for (mainly) corporate entities in Holland and France (1992-1997). In 1990 he co-founded the Cultvideoshop; an new initiative at the time that focussed on (rare) arthouse, trash and unknown foreign films. He has also spent time as a writer for filmfanzines, and as a producer/host in Rotterdam of a radio program about cult films. He joined the LabforCulture team during April 2005.
