Financiación alternativa

En años recientes, el recorte del gasto público en cultura ha llevado a pensar de forma creativa en alternativas a la ayuda “convencional”, tanto pública como privada, de los gobiernos, fundaciones, donantes particulares y patrocinadores. Se están estudiando “nuevos” instrumentos financieros. Entre ellos se incluyen los bancos éticos y las organizaciones financieras de carácter social, que dan la misma importancia a objetivos sociales, medioambientales y culturales que a la rentabilidad financiera. Este tipo de organizaciones puede ofrecer créditos, pero no subvenciones. Algunas autoridades públicas han establecido además agencias intermediarias que ayudan a los operadores culturales a acceder a préstamos bancarios más convencionales.
