A programme of exchange between young artists in Pristina and Frankfurt. Students from Pristina's Contemporary Art Institute, EXIT, and the Frankfurt art academy Städelschule explore the extent to which artistic production can reflect the mechanisms employed in identity formation. Joint theory workshops and excursions are also involved. Presentations were made in the Museum of Kosovo, Pristina (23-27 September 2005), and in Portikus, Frankfurt (18-23 November 2005). An international symposium took place in Frankfurt/Main on 19 and 20 November 2005.

ACADEMY REMIX is part of the 'relations' project initiated by the German Federal Cultural Foundation.

The initiatives of individual students form the project's core. Workshops include invited artists and theoreticians.The programme originated in the Kosovo project, 'Missing Identity'.
