Blerina Berberi has international experience with private art galleries, individual artists, art and music festivals, state institutions, etc. She aims through policies and work to encourage investments in arts, beginning with education and ending with the financial status of the artist. Her keen interests also consist in researching the art market and understanding its mechanisms. During her academic studies she has written thesis on the US and EU Art Market, Droit de Suite, Interdiscipline study and presentation of Arts, Literature and Psychology, Philosophy, etc.
After graduating in Business from the American Professional High School, she moved to The Netherlands where she received Hon. BA and Master in Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education. She worked at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, Netherlands, and yearly at The European Fine Arts and Antiques Fair (TEFAF) for the Ribolzi Gallery from Monaco, and been involved in several cultural and artistic projects in the city of Maastricht.
In Albania, she has worked as a coordinator for International Art Competitions at the National Arts Gallery, Specialist of Integration and Foreign Relations at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, and has moved on as a freelance arts manager working with several artistic and cultural projects in the country in cooperation with international and national talents and organizations.
