      <description>
&lt;p&gt;
Seeks to identify and explore trends and priorities in arts funding. Concludes that important societal trends are impacting on the nature and characteristics of the public, cultural creation and consumption, and the requirements around the use of public money for supporting the arts. The present system is overly top-heavy, with the bulk of support going to large organisations focused on traditional, Euro-centric art forms. The “master plan” for dance does also work together with dancers and choreographers in facing the challenges involved in finding new ways to carry out their artistic ideas in the cultural and political climate that is.
