Women's Funding Network

The Women's Funding Network is a membership of over 160 women's and girls' funds that provide financial support for activities that aim to improve the lives of women and girls. Most funds are public meaning they are groups that need to raise money in order to support their programmes. A few (less than 10%) women's and girls' funds are private, meaning they have funds set aside that they draw from to make grants to non-profit groups.

The site has a wealth of tips and information on how to apply for funding and develop and manage projects. There are sub-sections with guidance for specific art forms. Although targeting artists in the Netherlands, much of the information is of use to artists in any country.

Aga Khan Trust for Culture
