A centre for cultural policy research, advocacy and training founded in 2010 by the İstanbul Bilgi University in Turkey.
It addresses the changing cultural scene in Turkey, aiming to be a hub for academic exchange and excellence, to develop research-based policy advice, and to function as an observatoire of cultural trends.
KPY draws on the academic resources of the Arts and Culture Management Programmes of the İstanbul Bilgi University. It benefits from the networking opportunities available through the university, with academia, cultural institutions and local and central governments across EU, North and South America, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
It offers an online research library, including books, e-books, journals, e-journals, articles, reports, theses and other academic resources.
