This paper presents a brief reflection on the results of the issues discussed in the Bologna thematic network. Rather than seeking a European standardisation of higher arts education, the objective of the network is to: support and promote diversity; gain a better understanding of national, disciplinary, and pedagogical differences; and create an ongoing dialogue between institutions and national and European governmental and professional bodies.
