Comet Above Central European Theatre

This is an interview conducted by Judit Ambrus with László Bérces, director of Bárka Theatre, Budapest on the development and activities of the COMET Network (Cooperation of Middle and East European Theatres). The Network was first established in Poland with 9 theatres as members from 8 countries. The goal is to promote the work of its members, to exchange artists and to coproduce performances of contemporary theatre and drama. Joint festivals are being planned. A common website is being produced to promote international cultural cooperation.
