Arts and cultural management are important factors in facilitating mobility and development of cities and societies on a global level, as well as enhancing the democratisation of society. Cultural institutions have become more open, keeping pace with social changes and playing an active role in them.
In this publication, contributors from across Europe share their knowledge and experience on a variety of issues, such as cultural policy, city development, models of cooperation between states, involvement of the population, audience analysis, art education and interaction.
