The Initiative Culture and Creative Industries of the German Federal Government (managed by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the Federal Commissioner for Cultural and Media Affairs) has established a monitoring mechanism for cultural and creative industries to report on current economic key data across the sector.

The analysis presented in this document aims to investigate the development potential of cultural and creative industries.
