A project to bring artists, educators, writers and thinkers to Cork, Ireland took place over 12 months, culminating in a three-week intensive period in June-July 2005. Caucus brought prominent artists and thinkers to Cork as inspiration for the future and interlocutors for the local art scene. The National Sculpture Factory is developing a project of major significance for Cork's tenure as European Capital of Culture to provide long-term benefits for the contemporary visual arts.
