Delfina's Foundation Residency: Call For Visual Artists, Curators And Writers

The Delfina Foundation is offering an 8-week residency in London to a visual artist, curator or writer from the following countries: Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Egypt.

The dates of the residency are from 22nd March to 16th May 2010.


The selected resident will be provided with:

- accommodation at Delfina Foundation;
- an enabling bursary / allowance to contribute towards costs of living in London;
- personal and professional support during the residency; and
- bespoke opportunities for professional development.

The resident must cover his/her international travel and their personal living costs such as mobile phone usage, materials, etc.

The ideal candidate will be: 

- living and working in the North Africa countries as defined above;
- emerging to mid-career, at least 25 years in age;
- able to demonstrate how the experience of an international residency in London may benefit their practice and career development;
- able to demonstrate basic English proficiency;
- available during the time period. 

Demonstrable artistic quality and development potential will be key assessment criteria.
