The Social Networks Journal accepts now submissions for its issue on "Social networks" (Vol.5, Issue 3). This issue welcomes contributions that reflect on the importance of social networks for political attitudes, behaviors and knowledge of elites or the public. Policy papers assessing the role of social networks in policy-decision making are also welcomed.

Contributions may employ various methodological techniques, such as network analysis, quantitative or qualitative methods of research.

The submitted articles should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. Authors should clearly indicate at the time of submission if another version of the article is under consideration by another publication, or has been/will be published elsewhere. For details regarding the submission format, check the "Guidelines for Authors" section.

Deadline for submissions: November 1, 2009
