The Project section that is in front of us is a new generation of the section that used to be Case Study section. In the section we are collecting the cooperation projects across Europe and here you can find out on which criteria is based our selection. We present projects in short or long version, depends on available information. 

For the importance and the potential of the section I already wrote in my first blog Let's talk that I published on 1 September 2008. 

However, here, through the Editor’s blog we can inform the public about the news regarding your projects that are published in the Project section. This project and blog space give us a great opportunity for gathering and collecting information, transferring knowledge and experience. Here in the blog space I can also publish your calls, announcements, interviews with various cultural operators, artists, organisers etc. 

Besides editing the Project Section I have also implemented a variety of collaborative projects, which are related to the portal Kulturpunkt.hr, in Croatia where I am living and working. In many occasions your projects, which are presented in the Project section, gave me various ideas and showed me how I can learn from your successes, obstacles, problems and the challenges that are in front of any cultural operator and artist. So I am sure that in the same way the content of this section can inspire you for all further projects and activities. 

Today, when the culture and art are fully involved on the market, I think that we should strive for processes, researches and productions of new artistic practices, which will not be based only on the representation of finished works. In order to follow these aspirations, the support and promotional actions are necessary at all levels, especially in the field of cultural policy. I utterly believe that our efforts to show successful long-term projects and cooperation, their effectiveness and achievements coursed towards building a better society and initiating social changes founded on civil values can help the decision makers to bring out decisions, where precisely these strategies will be incorporated.

Therefore, I invite you to join the construction of Project section, which is designed as some kind of archive and the work in progress, and not only to serve our present needs, but to remain as the basis for all future projects and up-coming operators and artists.
