Curiouser

This week has been a little nutty, so, yes, I've skipped a couple of days. However, this is not neglect, rather it is evidence of my dedication, focus and hard work at the explOratorium. This week I've worked nearly 30 hours, which has been really awesome, although pretty exhausting. From the piers to After Dark last night, and a few opportunities for recovery in between, and then a holiday weekend coming up, I've had a lot to do and I feel really productive. Dear Little Alice, the poster-girl for exploring and investigation without abandon, above represents the museum's newest temporary exhibition, Geometry Playground. Last night, the museum had its monthly adult event, After Dark, celebrating the opening of Geometry Playground with music, live trapeze shows, and refreshments. It's was really well planned and implemented, and it was exciting to be part of it. The biggest thing I took away from it was the high level of organization of volunteers and timelines to make the entire night run smoothly. Everyone who helped out was completely focused and dedicated to the event, and I had fun meeting more people in the museum.
