Escrita na Paisagem is a annual festival taking place in Alentejo, Portugal.
Escrita na Paisagem aims to bring to the Alentejo’s landscape artistic projects that are able to draw the attention and thus promote the landscape, the traditions and local cultural values, assuming the landscape as a peculiar venue for the contemporary creation. On dealing with Alentejo as a wide venue, the Festival looks for it’s own traditional territories as a cultural support and as a basis for the contemporary creation, believing that it will result in a complex input and output system sustained on the culturally different perspectives and on the rebuilding of the traditions.
