
The Artists' House in Weimar is a historical place in the middle of the city center of Weimar, located just behind the current Bauhaus Museum.
We combine gallery space with studio and hold regular lounge evenings.

Although it is expected that public funding for the arts and cultural programming will continueto shrink over the coming fiscal periods, we see no reason to do less because there is less money. Indeed, we from the Künstlerhaus understand our responsibility to the community asthat of finding new ways to enable creativity and define culture by supporting a very fragile and yet important sector of contemporary society: living artists.
