IONEROBINSON.ORG was established as an online archive of the diverse works of the American artist, Ione Robinson (1910-1989). During the course of her life, she distinguished herself as a visual artist, writer, journalist, and political activist.
Ione Robinson documented the final year of the Spanish Civil War, the French concentrations camps for Spanish Republicans, and Spanish Republican orphans in Mexico and onboard evacuation ships to Latin America.
