From September 11th until October 30th Kap Pur Gallery will show the divers and exciting art from Artúr van Balen (1983, Budapest, Hungary). Artúr lives and works in Berlin. During the opening on Sunday September 11th, a live performance will be held using his most recent work called “Compost Sculpture”.
Artúr’s starting points include biological processes, the environment, mass production and consumer society. The title of the exhibition is inspired by the book of Alan Weisman, where the writer invites you to imagine a world where mankind disappeared from one day to the next. It would take over a hundred thousand years before all the plastic on earth would be disintegrated by microbes.
