Independent art critic and curator

A graduate in Art History at the University of Barcelona (1998), I am currently completing a PhD on digital art. I participated in international symposia such as the 1st International Congress on Arthur Danto and the End of Art organised by CENDEAC (Murcia, 2003) and Gaming Realities, Mediaterra 06 Digital Art and Culture Festival organised by the Fournos Centre for Digital Culture (Athens, 2006). I recently participated in the book Extending Experiences, which will be published by the University of Lapland in 2007.

In 2002, I began an on-going collaboration with various art and culture websites. Site editor at Rhizome (2002-2007) and Artnodes (2003), I am also a reviewer on contemporary and digital art for the websites Furtherfield (since 2004) and Amb l’Art (2005). In addition, I produce videos for Vernissage TV (since 2006) and am correspondent for the contemporary art and digital culture magazines a::minima (since 2004) and art.es (2005).

In 2005, I co-founded Artactiva, a cultural management company where I’ve worked until March, 2007. During this period I participated in the organisation and design of several art exhibitions, including the travelling exhibition of Bernardí Roig (Salamanca, Bonn, Ostende, 2006-2007) organised by SEACEX (Spanish Society for Cultural Action Abroad) and the outdoor sculpture event Sculpture Grande (Prague, 2006), organised by Gallery Art Factory.
