Asli Deniz Helvacioglu

Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu stands as one of the prominent artists in Turkey, with an international acclaimation. Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu had participated in group shows in Japan, USA, Italy, Turkey and Romania and opened seven solo shows in Turkey. The art works of Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu are reputable with the emotional linkage that she creates with the current inter-cultural issues. Most of her works appear on art programs in mass-media with a special coverage on internet websites and Blogs as her art works and exhibitions are built upon a hypothetical basis trying
to evaluate the current world order. The recurrent themes in Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu’s works, derive from the dehumanizing tendency of commercial representation, stimulated with the global culture of cosmopolitanism.
