As Head of Communications at the European Cultural Foundation, Amsterdam, I have a special remit, giving strategic communication advice to LabforCulture. My background is in cultural PR, marketing and print and radio journalism. My experience includes being a director of the Grenoble International Festival, and also of Trinity Arts Centre, Tunbridge Wells. I was previously Head of Communication, International Strategy Project, Arts Council England for whom I also developed major campaigns including Creative Partnerships. Last year I took a sabbatical to study the cultural communication strategies and techniques of different countries in Europe, including, Germany, France, The Netherlands and Belgium. I have an MA in Arts Criticism from the City University, London, and I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
