Imploding Fictions is an international theatre collective aiming to produce original performance art, theatre works, live art and video art as well as conducting exploratory workshops and engaging in theoretical research. We aim to harmonize elements from traditional theatre with new insights from the performance art scene, in an attempt to create an exiting theatre for a modern audience.

Through the interplay between theatre, performance and new technologies we wish to explore the friction between live and reproductive media.

By fostering an international dialogue, especially between the German, Norwegian and British theatre scene, we hope to participate in a process of artistic exchange.

The founders of Imploding Fictions are Philip Thorne and Øystein Ulsberg Brager.
