I am marketing manager at the Arts Marketing Association (AMA). The AMA is a training and professional development organisation for people who work to bring the arts and public together. The 1,900 members come from a diverse range of people from the arts and cultural industries working in museums and galleries, venues and arts centres, producing companies and festivals, students, agencies, local authorities, cinema, film and new media as well as freelancers and consultants. There are also members who work within customer service, general management and box office as well as directors, heads of organisations, lecturers and curators.

The AMA provides a range of training events each year to help members develop their skills, resources to keep them up to date with new thinking and current issues and networking with other arts professionals in the sector.

For more information on the AMA and how to join, go to www.a-m-a.co.uk
