The IETM 31st Spring Plenary Meeting “Cultural Warming” opened tonight in Montreal, Canada. This is the first plenary meeting of the 25 years old network happening outside Europe. The four days workshops and plenary sessions (31 May-3June) will cover issues related to the new technologies in the arts, the complex practices of cultural diversity, the commercialization of culture, , the effectiveness of artistic activities, the new tendencies in the performing arts field.

The meeting will be held alongside the first edition of the (reborn!) theatre and dance Festival TransAmériques (23 May – 7 June).
