Could you try again?

I have been here for 6 months. I am here because there is huge network just focus on management of art. They publish labforculture as a meeting point and as a pool of knowledge or they are all just an empty pool which is full of mulch in the autumn, separately.

I am the man who surfs on the internet to find knowledge to feed my fields of interest. I want to log-in to labforculture.com but immediatly, after log-in, I am becoming bored.

On the log-in page, you write your nickname, then write your password, but then... All people who are searching, looking for something, see your real name. I have seen it just on the labforculture.com. Knowing someone with his or her real name on the internet create more controlled place for trusty and friendly users.

Why do I try to say it is not meaningful?

Nickname is a free-will for everyone on the internet. You create your real or fake character, then you show nickname to stand confessed as your character. If people don't see your nickname as you, it could be useful, and it can be.

I don't visit this site often either. I joined for information and because I'm interested in cross border networking with other artists. I'm also interested in other cultural activities! I can't put my finger on it but this site seems cold and impersonal. It's focus seems to be arts management rather than arts practice. And a lot of the forum posts are boring beyond belief. But there is useful information if you look for it.
Interesting comment ... If you want to change your name as it appears everywhere on the site, you can edit your profile. It is printed on the top right after you login - "manage my account".

Your login name is not the same as what is visible; but that is quite common in a lot of sites. Especially on this site, a lot of people really want to have their real name, using a "first name" and "last name" instead of just a nickname. But if you want, you can.
