This weekend marked the opening of the 10th International Istanbul Biennial curated by Hou Hanrou under the theme 'Not Only Possible, But Also Necessary: Optimism in the Age of Global War'.

LabforCulture has invited Rotterdam-based curator and critic Nat Muller to report live from the opening days as well as further explore the impact of the event in a series of interviews and reports after her return from Istanbul.
