BRIDGEBUILDER - TONI EL SUIZO for the first time in Prague

Public meeting "Bridgebuilder - Toni El Suizo" with Toni Ruttimann in Prague on Thursday 28th May 2009, 7.30pm in the Municipal Library of Prague, is following Toni's presentations, held in Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom (IPMA World Congress, SUPSI, LHS, University of Zurich, HSM, ...). Meeting is co-organized with the Municipal Library of Prague. Entry is free.

Toni Ruttimann "Toni El Suizo", forty one years old, of Swiss Citizenship, polyglot, can be considered a Saint of the modern times, a second Saint Francis. He has not got a home; he only owns two small bags. One is for his personal effects, the second one for his suspension bridge building. Toni helps the more destitute people to build or re-build their own bridges to link up two sides of a river after a hurricane, an earthquake, a war event. Till today Toni Ruttimann has build in South America and in South-East Asia more than 440 suspension bridges. Come and hear this inspiring story.

As part of the "Bridgebuilder - Toni El Suizo" presentation two Czech cellists, sister and brother Anna Brikciusova & Frantisek Brikcius (Duo Brikcius) will premiere composition "Mosty / Bridges" for two cellos written and dedicated by Czech composer and organist Irena Kosikova to Toni Ruttimann.
