Sensing Site: A series of research seminars with Central Saint Martins
and CUCR, Goldsmiths, University of London
In response to the exhibition Lines of Thought, Fine Art Research at Central Saint
Martins in partnership with students from Goldsmiths' Centre for Urban and Community
Research will deliver a series of three seminars. Proposals have been selected from
researchers and current PhD students currently investigating materialities of landscape
and place; transformative potential of raw materials and multi-media performance
practices using in particular moving image, photography, interactive technologies
and sound. The series will promote an open and constructive environment within
which participants and audience can interact to provide feedback and peer review.
Speakers: Rachel Sarah Jones (CUCR, Goldsmiths, University of London)
and Fay Hoolahan (Camberwell College of Arts)
