Participation in Photography: Memory, Archives and Authorship will explore the social, political and ethical implications of participation and authorship in urban photography. The symposium will discover how photographers and artists collaborate and interact with people when making photographic projects in world cities.
The symposium is curated by David Kendall, Ingrid Guyon and Valentina Schivardi. The event is part of the London Urban Photo Fest (taking place from 4-13 October 2012) in conjunction with CUCR, Goldsmiths, University of London and Urban Encounters.
