Author: Lidia Varbanova - Date: 07 feb 2011, 18:10

European network Cultura21, a platform for the cultural promotion and evolution of societies and lifestyles in order to contribute to sustainability, has launched a collection of eBooks on “Culture and Sustainability”, edited by Sacha Kagan and Davide Brocchi.

Three volumes are already available in this format, which has been chosen by Cultura21 so as to allow broad dissemination and to stimulate further debate in civil society.

Volume 1 is a work by Lisa Grabe and is published in German: “Das „Projekt Nachhaltigkeit“. Zu den Grenzen des Nachhaltigkeitskonzepts aus kultureller Perspektive”.

David Knaute is the author of Volume 2, published in French: “Le Syndrome Karamoja: Repenser la crise des sociétés pastorales dans le contexte de la globalisation”.

Volume 3 by Julia Hahn is published in English: “Creative Cities and (Un) Sustainability – Cultural Perspectives”.

All three eBooks can be found at www.cultura21.net/cultura21-news/
