
Seeks to identify and explore trends and priorities in arts funding. Concludes that important societal trends are impacting on the nature and characteristics of the public, cultural creation and consumption, and the requirements around the use of public money for supporting the arts. The present system is overly top-heavy, with the bulk of support going to large organisations focused on traditional, Euro-centric art forms. Two papers available: AFA Primary Research Paper and AFA Secondary Research Paper.
