A Bulgarian-based foundation that encourages communities to work actively for social development, using available local resources.
WCIF was created in Bulgaria in 2001 to encourage personal responsibility, participation, inclusiveness and philanthropy in the post-Communist era. It is one of the few foundations in Bulgaria that provides financial support for public benefit projects, while also building the capacity of non-government organisations. Its goal is to build vibrant and stable communities in Bulgaria.
