A foundation that awards annual grants to young artists from the Mediterranean region.
The aim is to further knowledge and understanding of Mediterranean cultures, so candidates travel outside their native countries to pursue their research on a subject of their choice.
Projects include sculpture, literature, music, painting, architecture, sociology, photography, ethnography and art history.
