
The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue Between Cultures is an organisation shared by several countries of the Union for the Mediterranean. It aims at improving mutual respect between cultures, promoting dialogue and supporting civil society working for a common future of the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The Anna Lindh Foundation was established in 1995 in the follow up of the Barcelona Process and the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. Located in Alexandria, Egypt, it is an international civil society organisation with an intergovernmental board of governors. The grants programme supports concrete and sustainable projects for the promotion of inter-cultural relationships.
