A German online platform for crowdsponsoring of creative, innovative or social projects and ideas. It welcomes projects from different areas, such as film, design, art, technology, environment, literature, social entrepreneurship, etc.
The platform combines crowdfunding (support to specific initiatives or projects) and fundraising (support to organisations or charities) to support the implementation of creative, exceptional and brave ideas. It connects supporters with project owners, who keep ownership of their work, and offer engaging rewards in return to the supporters.
MySherpas operates based on an all-or-nothing principle, meaning that only projects that are fully funded will be implemented. If a project is not fully funded, the money is transferred back to the Sherpas (the supporters).
The platform is in German but is open to projects worldwide.
