Promotes democracy and freedom of expression, to conflict resolution and the respect of minorities in the Western Balkans, stressing youth and structures for broad cultural participation.
It is run by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, upon mandate of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. It works with two action-lines, regional cooperation projects and small actions (one time events), providing funds for cross-border cultural projects and contemporary artistic productions.
It also promotes international exchange projects Switzerland - Balkans.
