A space for research, theory building and exchange aiming at advancing gender and sexuality studies and instigating public debate and social practice.
It questions the predominance of heterosexuality by examining ideas, images, representations and discourses of gender and sexuality. It organises artistic, cultural and academic events and initiates interdisciplinary and cooperative projects. Of special interest is its working group on “Queer/ing visual cultures”.
