This foundation organises the following annual events: the International İstanbul Film Festival (April), the International İstanbul Music Festival (June-July), the International İstanbul Jazz Festival (July); and the following biennial events: the International İstanbul Theatre Festival (May-June) and the International İstanbul Biennial (autumn). IKSV was founded in 1973.
