An independent non-profit art venue run by ten individuals who take turns in producing exhibitions. The rent and production costs are shared by its members. This has resulted in a wide variety of projects, often experimental and informal in their presentation, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Candyland has opened a self-financing enterprise that produces exhibitions and shows, called Hammarby ArtPort (HAP), located in an industrial building just south of Stockholm's city centre. Candyland is co-organising Supermarket, an international artist-run art fair in Stockholm.
