One of the leading performing arts centres in Spain, with a high reputation and independent character, the Abadia Theatre was conceived as a theatre and permanent training centre running specialist workshops. Founded in 1995 by the well-known actor and director Jose Luis Gomez, it is a member of L'Union des Théâtres de l'Europe.
