An innovative model designed to bring solutions to the cultural creative industry in Andalucia, Spain. It helps to set up connections between professionals, public and private entities and the local area where they operate through a variety of activities including research, training, technical assistance and marketing.
Proyecto Lunar covers the entire creative sector: craft, music, museums, film, anthropology, new technologies, trade, archaeology, communication, publishing, performing arts, visual and graphic art, etc. It is an urban programme. There is a similar project focusing on rural areas: Proyecto Agrolunar.
More than 1,300 businesses are taking part in this initiative, which has resulted in over 140 new business initiatives and almost 300 job opportunities. The project is run by Andalucía Emprende, an Andalusian governmental foundation that works to promote cultural entrepreneurship in the region.
