Created under the auspices of the cultural sector of Barcelona City Council (Diputació de Barcelona), the centre was conceived as a resource tool to facilitate cooperation with other regional municipalities in terms of training, information and advice related to cultural policy and management.
It provides access to their documentation centre catalogue, permits the download of many of their publications and also displays information on their working projects and events in the region.
