A dynamic centre which aims to improve mutual understanding between Latin American and Spanish people. Its activities include the holding of conferences and conducting of research (cultural, social, scientific, technological, economic, political, etc.). The Madrid-based centre emerged from the commemoration of the 5th Centennial of the meeting between the two worlds of Europe and America, and was opened in 1992.
