A contemporary art centre which enjoys significant autonomy and international visibility, depite being dependent on the County Council of Guipuzcoa. The centre initiates and promotes both theoretical and practical interdisciplinary projects and is open to national and international artists, as well as to anybody interested in extending their knowledge of art and contemporary creation. It runs monographic courses by artists in residence and other expert workshops. It also holds theoretical and multidisciplinary seminars.
