A Lisbon-based organisation that aims to promote cultural diversity, citizenship and sustainable development.
Etnia is involved in interdisciplinary projects that explore and reinforce links between culture, environment and development. It co-runs a community centre in Lisbon, focusing on cultural diversity as a tool for social inclusion of immigrant workers and their families. It has been developing the Lusophone Cultural Circuit, an umbrella exchange programme that promotes cultural ties with other Portuguese speaking countries and beyond.
